Description

Cycle riding has been made safer with the Rolson brake sensing rear brake light. It has a constant light output which activates when sensing that the rider is braking using an internal inertia sensor – it then becomes much brighter indicating to other road users that the rider is slowing down – just like a car! The light has two modes: manual and automatic. The automatic mode only operates in low light levels saving battery life while the manual mode keeps the light on constantly for additional safety in high-risk areas. The light is easy to charge with a micro USB socket – it only takes 2 hours to charge to full from flat and depending on the light mode selected can last up to 17hours, less in the heavy traffic if the highest light output is operating while protecting the rider from danger. There are a number of light outputs – always on, slow flash, fast flash, irregular false, and breathing flash all selected using the front push switch. In each mode, the sensor activates the additional output for a period of time depending on the braking of the bike and rider. The light unit is water-resistant to 1m (IPX6). The light is designed to be added to the bike using the quick fit and release silicon fixing ideal for the seat stalk of most bikes,e-bikes and scooters.
